Music for Young Children® (MYC) combines piano, singing, rhythm, ear training, music reading, and musicianship in engaging, hands-on group classes. Children learn through games, stories, movement, creative activities, and collaborative music-making while developing skills that grow with them.

Sunrise:

Ages 2–4 • Parent-and-child music learning

Sunrise bridges the gap between music-and-movement and formal music instruction, introducing young children to rhythm, ear training, music reading, and keyboard skills through playful, age-appropriate learning.

Sunshine:

Ages 3-5• Group piano and music with parent participation

Sunshine introduces young keyboarders to piano, music reading, rhythm, ear training, and musicianship through playful, age-appropriate learning.

Sunbeams

Ages 5-7 • Group piano and music with parent participation

Sunbeams develops a strong foundation in piano playing, music reading, rhythm, ear training, and musicianship through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Moonbeams

Ages 8+ • Group piano and music with optional parent participation

Moonbeams is the MYC entry point for older beginners, with an emphasis on music reading, piano repertoire, technique, harmonization, and growing independence.
