Jessica Santos is the founder and director of Atelier Music Academy, a growing music school serving students and families in Amaranth and throughout Dufferin County. Since beginning her teaching career in 2014, Jessica has been passionate about creating musical experiences that are both educational and enjoyable — rooted in the belief that students learn best when they feel encouraged, supported, and genuinely excited about what they're learning.

Jessica has a particular passion for teaching children. She is a certified Music for Young Children® educator and teaches MYC, piano, and music theory at Atelier, introducing students to music through singing, movement, rhythm, keyboard playing, ear training, composition, and creative exploration.

She is also an RCM Certified Teacher with Elementary and Intermediate Piano Specialist designations from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and holds her own RCM studies through Grade 9 Piano, Grade 6 Voice, and Advanced Rudiments. Jessica holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, with a double major in Psychology and Exceptionality in Human Learning.

Over the years, Jessica's vision has grown from a private piano studio into Atelier Music Academy — a diverse and welcoming music community offering private piano, guitar, drum, violin, vocal, and ukulele instruction, along with group programs including MYC and music theory. Atelier also offers online learning and a selection of instruments and accessories to support students' musical journeys at home.

Jessica is committed to a music school where students of all ages and abilities feel welcome, where learning is encouraged without pressure, and where every accomplishment — big or small — is worth celebrating. Her greatest reward is watching students grow into confident, creative musicians who carry that joy in music well beyond their lessons.
